  Lazy tea occurred due to taking up the oven baking and travelling home for aeronautical lectures.
  Fish was lively with perfect batter, chips were fine, with a few scraps too, and the chips were a ridiculously unnatural shade of alarming, alarming green.

  Like in the school reports ....... " Must try harder ".
  We had just been around the market and felt a bit peckish so called in here for a bag of chips, to their credit we had more than a ample portion, however, what a pity the quantity was not exceeded by the quality, very poor chips, virtually tasteless and looked limp and lifeless .... cooked in oil ? More like drowned, which was fortunate because it was only the oil which gave them any flavour at all, in the end my head ruled my stomach and despite our hunger (we only got a quarter of the way through) enough was enough and the remaining portion was consigned to the nearest refuse bin, my wife was concerned that perhaps a fox would later take advantage of this ready meal but I eased her fears by suggesting that vulpine culinary preferences would be towards any available road kill rather than Olympics soggy offerings !
